Alx prefers the expression of personal style over the pursuit of trends. Influenced by icons like Joan Didion, Sade & Phoebe Philo. Alx believes in good hair & the non-toxic products to achieve it.

Alx got her official start in hair in 2008, after years of serving as her friends’ defacto stylist. She attended the Aveda Institute in Denver, followed by an extensive apprenticeship at El Salon. After a move to San Francisco, she continued her higher education with courses through Bumble & bumble, Davines, Hairstory, Organic Colour Systems & Pony Education. In 2021 Alx became the owner of  Hoxton Tom Salon in San Francisco, there she specializes in Low-Toxic colour lines, balayage, razor cutting & men’s styling.

Alx hates talking about herself in the third person & this will be the last time she ever does it.
